  • Blog – I’m an Instagrouch, and I don’t care who knows it

A tall, dark pine forest blocks out light from the bright sun, allowing odd glimmers through the branches. A flowing river crashes wildly among scattered rocks, splashing white foam across the glimmering, water-shined banks. A coffee cup trembles gently alone on an uneven table in a dimly lit café.

  • EP Round Up : Speedy Ortiz, Harouki Zombi, Smithereens, Repo Men, Gregory & The Hawk

Ahoy, mateys! It’s another EP round up column. In honour of us being massive geeks with no social life AND the upcoming adaptation of The Hobbit, we’ll classify each EP after an army from Middle Earth. Let’s go, precious!

  • Review & Short Story : Ummagma – Antigravity

  • Ese sentimiento de Deja Vu…

Nota del editor: Este escrito fue hecho poco después de las elecciones presidenciales de Estados Unidos del 2008. Extrañamente, parece muy relevante… “[…]any team with both God and Nixon on their side was fucked from the start.”

  • Gig Review: Cry Havoc, Los Pecadores, Cavorts, Flaming Skulls, Wet Nuns

“Excuse me but what are you wearing?” “It’s a zarape, great for cold weather!” “Oh, I thought you were in fancy dress as a Mexican bandit from The Wild Bunch” “Yeah, that too. A Sheffield porter, please. Pint.”
