It’s almost upon us. We’ve mentioned it before and now the clock is about to strike midnight. No, wait, that sounds ominous.
Anyways, Live at Leeds 2013 is upon us and Friday kicks the proceedings with Unconference.
Talks, panels and networking activities will all happen at Leeds College of Music as part of Live at Leeds 2013. Conferences will include speakers such as Mark Mulligan, Scott Cohen and John Gomm.
Registration starts around 10 AM, and talks starting at 11. Subjects will tackle music distribution and consumption and management in the current digital age.
If you are travelling by public transport and arriving by train, follow this map from station (A) to Leeds College of Music (B).
And then, of course, there’s Bearfoot Beware, Wet Nuns and Black Moth playing at The Wardrobe. If you are going to Unconference, you are in for free (ya freeloader!) and you get a cool 20% off food. If you are mere mortal, it will be 5 quid and a nod. Except not the the nod.
Saturday involves the meat to the event and that’s the music Smörgåsbord offered. From brutal live bands like Castrovalva to mellowed out pop kings like The 1975, this year’s line up has a lot to offer. Our picks?
