We invited Lumiere to write a few blurbs about their long-in-the-making upcoming album, Coloso. One every day for the next forthnight. To start things up, ‘Elefante’.

Elefante: La memoria amorosa del animal en cuestión en contraste con la memoria conjunta de dos individuos en éxtasis al observar una estatua a orillas del río Támesis (en diferentes momentos del tiempo). La estatua aún existe, los malditos enamorados ya no.

Elefante: The love memory of said animal contrasts with the joined memory of two individuals in ecstasy while observing a statue by the shore of the river Thames (in different timelines). The statue still exits, the starcrossed lovers don’t.
