The Violet May
Out of the many great bands Sheffield (that Genesis Ark of musicians in England) is producing, one the fiercest is The Violet May, with an attitude-filled show and a piercing sound (courtesy of 4 very skilled musicians backing up an equally skilled singer).
One hell of a live band, where the line between public and band dissolves (thanks to vocalist Chris McClure’s tendency to mingle with them) and where all musicians provide a jackhammer of music, The Violet May will be releasing an EP soon. In the meantime, they are giving away this song, ‘What you say’.
