Album of the week: Knot – Knot

The grungy desperation of Knot seeps through speakers through their debut album, Knot. Nine servings of mellow post-punk that were spiked with you hallucinogen of choice, giving you the right kick to the senses as you nudge yourself through the album.

Out now on Exploding in Sound Records, Knot is a band regenerated from their previous selves, Krill. Changes came with a frantic surge of energy, a respite from endless Zoom sessions that feel like a whole different strain of pandemic.

Suggested tracks: ‘Rust’, ‘Horse trotting, the feet not touching the ground’, ‘Foam’.
