If a band never releases an album and drip feeds you scorching single after scorching single? The Hot Soles are the exception to that homespun bit of hyperbole. ‘Flat feet’ veers into anthem-rock territory, but with enough soulful blues essence to keep it in the home territory. It feels like torture to keep waiting for a new album, EP, maxisingle, wax-cylinder, anything, but patience will be rewarded hopefully.
