Playlist: Roman Candle

It’s hard picturing the 4th of July and not conjuring up images of family BBQs, ice cold lager and a kaleidoscopic display of fireworks trying to compete with Disney World’s “light up the sky” shenanigans.

I’ve never been to a 4th of July celebration in the USA (still on the bucket list…) but I think more of driving aimlessly on vast highways, with nothing but the panorama slithering by. Whether the furious red landscapes of the desert, the squiggly roads by the seaside or the topsy-turvy ways of the mountains and creeks, it’s more about the freedom of driving.

So, in honor of some of the greatest of The American Playlist, with a couple of additions I might suggest, here’s a playlist for your week.
