Bandcamp suggestions for March 2021.

Hiya! My name is Orestes P. Coltrane and I’m the assistant editor/rent boy at this shithole of a website (TM), sloucherdotorg.

My boss told me to write a few lines about some rather dashing albums on bandcamp, here’s my selections:

From Mexico, here’s one for fans of psychedelic punk. Brutal garage overtones are layered on MengersMolly.

Y’all wondered what would be the result of mixing Siamese Dream era Smashing Pumpkins with forever underdogs Hum? Well, Narrow head might be yer poison!

The fine people at Orindal Records sure know how to pick ’em and Karima Walker‘s gorgeous Walking the dream body imbues the ambiance with a sense of longing and nostalgia that is both sorrowful and soothing.

Sometimes you need to shake your pain away and what better than groovy, modern roots? Pat Thomas & Kwashibu Area Band bring it down, with Obiaa!

What? More Mexican bands? Sure enough, here’s Austero, whose brand new, very Albini-ed album is ready to invade your ears.

So…just five bands? Yeah, this time it’s a short and sweet affair. Hope you enjoy any of these releases and support your bands :)
