We are still on a high with the recent material by Correatown, that is, last year’s Sleep and other drugs (our review). Today, while we wait for Embrace the Fuzzy Unknown (out Nov. 27 on Highline Records), we are dead excited to bring you the premiere of ‘Distillery’, a brand new video from Sleep and other drugs. 

Angela Correa told us about the video “I reached out to Stephanie Lucas, an independent filmmaker in Arizona about making a video before my baby was due. She’s a working Mom in addition to a wonderful artist and so she chipped away at the video over the year and recently sent me the finished piece. The footage of me in the video while pregnant was shot 2 days before Everly was born, and the footage of Everly and me dancing was shot when Everly was 7 months old. The little blond ballerina is her daughter, and the rest of the dancers are from Arizona.”

Dancing. Friday. Dream pop. Sounds like a good plan to me.
