Just like Dr. Who‘s Sea Devils, Sauna Youth invaded a sunny beach resort in the south of England. Brighton, to be less obtuse (I refuse to remove my anorak.) Starting out in 2009, Sauna Youth are punks all the way through, releasing a début album called Dreamlands back in 2012 (available on Faux Discx/Gringo Records) while still leaving a trail of 7″, split singles and tapes.

But enough of my bluster, here’s ‘Transmitters’:

Sauna Youth turn into Monotony at nighttime, keeping the same line-up but changing the sound slightly. We’ll be talking a bit about them eventually but there’s a split single out right now, released by Upset The Rhythm.
