Who?
Trent Reznor and Chris Cornell.
Why?
Petty rivalry that started through some comments in Twitter. Reznor said this about Cornell’s album: “u know that feeling you get when somebody embarrasses themselves so badly YOU feel uncomfortable?” . Cornell called him a “Judas”.
It went back and forth for a while. People in their late 20’s to their late 30’s sighed.
Winner?
Well, Cornell’s album Scream was a bit of a failure and Trent Reznor pretty much erased all that is NIN, got married to a Yoko Ono-stylee girl and now has an album that sounds like Coil under the influence of Starbucks. You decide.
Y’sure?
Ok, Reznor won. Because of this:
As an April’s Fool in 2009, Reznor made this mock album cover (including a zany music loop) making fun of Scream. This round goes for the Rez. You can check the mock up website here.

I agree with Tonan.
But hey, at least neither of them are singing with a half-nekkid Katy Perry or making films with annoying children.
(notice that I won’t mention a lot of my fave bands ending up in the Twilight soundtracks….)
