Fresh from their solo projects, La Sera and Midnight Carnivore, Katy Goodman (formerly of Vivian Girls) and Greta Morgan released an album of covers.

Not the usual fare, but some deep cuts aimed for the discerning aficionado. Wipers, Bad Brains, Buzzcocks, The Misfits and more get a reworking as intimate, indie folk cover versions.

Punk country legends The Gun Club are loved by those in the know but barely registered on the general public. Real shame as they were a great band. Their biggest hit, Sex Beat, gets an amazing transformation into a solemn but peppy track. Morgan and Goodman dual harmonies is perfect.
